Hello! My name is Aaron Boudaie, a Horace Mann School and Beverly Hills High School alumnus. I served as the president of the debate club, vice president of the Model UN club, run cross country, and volunteer as a peer tutor at both my school and at the BH public library. My volunteering earned me the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2013. I also interned for our state assemblymember Richard Bloom, was vice president of Beverly Hills Young Democrats, was involved in Democrats for Israel - Los Angeles, worked on a congressional campaign this past election cycle, and was in the National Honor Society at my school. I'm humbled and honored to announce that I will be interning for our esteemed Congressman Ted Lieu this fall. As a junior, I got two 5's on my AP exams in history and English and a 730 on my SAT history subject test. I've challenged myself with 14 combined AP and honors classes throughout high school and have a very strong academic base.  I am very involved and excited to work with your student.

Hi there! My name is Daniel Newman, an El Rodeo School and Beverly Hills High School alumnus. Throughout high school, I strived to be as active as humanly possible while still maintaining exceptional grades. Serving as the Class of 2015 President was undoubtedly my greatest experience at Beverly. Besides my involvement in student government, I've been a part of the MorTorq 1515 Robotics team, Varsity Water Polo and Swim Teams, DECA, and the BHHS orchestra. I was also vice president of the American Chemical Society chapter in BHHS and gave back to the community through Sinai Temple's SiHi program. I have been playing the violin since fifth grade and taught myself the piano in seventh grade. Feel free to check out my YouTube channel here. Following my passion in the sciences, I took six lab sciences when only two were required. I always challenge myself; Senior year, I had a full course load that sometimes extended my days from a 6:00 A.M. Water Polo practice to orchestra to four AP classes to an after-school Robotics meeting. My passions have given me a substantial foundation, and I'm looking forward to working with you.

Hello! My name is Olivia Koshy, a Hawthorne School alumna, and currently a senior at Beverly Hills High School. I will be attending University of California, Berkeley in the fall of 2015. I have spent three years tutoring BHUSD elementary and middle school students in the Beverly Hills Academic AfterSchool Tutoring Program. I am a second year President of DECA, a student representative on the high school’s CTE (Career Technical Education) Advisory Committee, and an Ambassador of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Education Committee. My work with the Chamber of Commerce and DECA has given me a valuable platform and voice in the Beverly Hills business and education community as well as the opportunity to receive a number of awards in DECA’s business competitions. I have also been a member of the National Honor Society, Link Crew, Interact Service Club and a leader for my church’s Children Liturgy Education Program. I have consistently challenged myself with the most rigorous courses, taking 17 combined AP and honors classes which has included 5 years of Spanish. I not only have a strong academic foundation, but also have the important tutoring experience with students of all ages and academic backgrounds. I am excited and passionate, and look forward to working with you.

Hello! My name is Deborah Newman, an El Rodeo School alumna, and currently a senior at Beverly Hills High School. My college plans after high school are not confirmed as I am waiting for acceptance letters but my first choice is to attend UCLA. Beverly has offered students like me enormous opportunities that I’ve taken advantage of. Varsity swim, varsity basketball, Medical Science Academy, Service Learning, and Link Crew are some of my involvements, but serving as President of Robotics this year has been my greatest experience. During my free time, I volunteer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a TAB (Teen Advisory Board) leader where I direct and manage over a dozen new volunteers weekly. Year after year, I took more rigorous classes to challenge myself to be the best I possibly can. Science has always been my passion and I’ve shown that through the courses I’ve taken. I eagerly took more science classes than required because of my genuine curiosity and desire to pursue a future career in this field. My mentality throughout high school was to give everything my all, and I do so in and out of the classroom. I have worked tirelessly in all my classes and endeavors, which gives me the confidence and strong academic base to work efficiently and effectively with your student. I am honored and excited to be working with you!
